Applying for a Loan Officer License online

Loan officers may apply for a loan officers license via the internet at https://www.NCCOB.ORG/Online/MLS.  The NCCOB website is a secure site that uses the North Carolina Office of State Controller's online payment service for credit/debit card and ACH payment processing.  In addition to applying for your license, once licensed you may change your address and employment through the NCCOB website, and your education history can be viewed to prevent repeating a course that has already been taken within a three year period.  If you apply via the internet, you will only need to mail the completed fingerprint card, authority to release form, and any court documents or regulatory agency orders and releases, if applicable.
